" Apple Farm" and Delaware Weather

We went to the " Apple Farm" where you go on a tractor pulled hayride to different orchards and pick the fruit you want. It was so good, but this is only half the fruit we got, the kids got to the rest of it before i could even get a pic.
They also had a really cool play place there for the kids with castles and ships made out of wood with poles to slide down, etc..

I included this video because I thought it was funny. I have an app on my phone that you talk into and a little hamster speaks what you say back. Shea will talk to it forever, and she thinks its hilarious no matter how many times she does it.

Also, a clip from last week's weather, sooo odd.

Delaware Museum of Natural History

This was a small museum we went to. It had real dinosaur bones which was pretty cool and an obvious favorite of the boys.
Pretty much the rest of the day Braden and Cade pretended they were raptors, by the tenth time they tried to "kill me" with their razor sharp claws I made them turn back into boys or else I was going to turn into something deadly.

They had lots of real stuffed animals and interactive screens for them to learn about everything.
They had a laughing fit when i told them that this was a dung beetle and what it pushed was really made of poop. They laughed even harder when Shea started touching it.... boys..
They even had a big screen that showed animal movies.
I had to include a couple pictures of what is different here than in cali. I've never seen a rite aid like this, and all the stores are the same with the red brick and colonial detail.
These are ALL over the place, it is their version of an ampm. A " Wawa"..... seriously, i get ampm, but a wawa? what does that even mean???

Anyways, still having fun doing new stuff and meeting some new people.

Liberty Bell

So we've been in delaware for a week now and have gotten settled in. It is beautiful here but holy crap it's hot and humid!! luckily we have a pool and AC cause otherwise.... that's all i'm saying. So we went to PA to see some sights, this is me and the boys in front of independence hall, we also took a tour of the inside to see where they signed the declaration of independence. It got me all patriotic hearing all that stuff!
Chad and Braden were buddies this trip because braden was suprisingly interested in history, not that it should be suprising, but that he's only 6 and interested. Chad explained everything to him as we went.
The liberty bell...
Braden reading ALL of the info, we were there for a while.
this was " the tomb of the unknown soldier". I love the saying on the top, like i said, i got all patriotic being there.
I like this pic because the buildings are all so old, its cool. History people, history!
And last i took this pic while we were driving because it's so different from cali. you can't even see anything off the freeway because its so thick with trees, like i said, beautiful but the AC is on full blast in the car, haha. In the fall all the trees turn yellow, red and orange so i'll take another picture then.
