One of Chad's bday presents was his favorite cereal lucky charms. We heard a rat chipping away at something in the other room and found that shea really wanted them also. The bag was drowning in slobber.
For the kid class we teach at church we made hand puppets and named them Pablo and Pete (those were the first names that came to my mind). Shea loved them and now walks around the house with her sock on her hand talking and calling it Pablo.
Cade was so proud of the pumpkin he personally picked out and the finished product. He found that he didn't like to touch any part of it though after all the hype and was reduced to putting it on his legs for the picture instead and letting the rest of us do the dirty work.
Braden's first project. a report on an insect and then the making of one out of household items. I promised myself when i was younger that i would let my kids do their projects alone to use their own creativity but the frustration was too much and I ended up helping, at least its mostly his work. If you can't tell its a praying mantis made out of a plastic flute, zip ties, and styrofoam plates.

have i mentioned i miss you like crazy!?!?!?! i love it when you have new posts - i get all excited about it. pitiful right?? but i don't care - i got no shame. :)
Cade looks like a member of the Village People! haha :)
Cute pictures! I always swore I'd let my kids do their own projects too... but Matt gets right in there & has so much fun! Maybe because his mom always did his projects... :) Besides, it's hard to get across how we picture the project if we don't help right? lol And love the cereal! No need for milk after she got into it I guess.
