Santa Barbara Half-Marathon

So i just got done doing the santa barbara half marathon and it was awsome! It was rough though, i'm not gonna lie. It was beautiful but hilly all along the beach. It was fun to have chad's brother tyler, his wife stefanie, and my mom's friend cindy there to run with. Also, my mom was our number one fan and cheerleader and made us these hats and boas. I loved having chad and the boys there to root me on, they had palm palms and it pumped me up!! thanks guys!

Happy Halloween

Braden was iron man, cade was spiderman, and shea was a kitten.

Shea was super curious and wanted the pumpkin, but she got a piece and licked it, and after that she didn't want anything to do with it.

shea thinks she is so cool standing up on the fireplace. She squeals a high pitched scream of pure joy, its hilarious. Braden is the best big brother, shea is in love with him. He wants to try and take care of her all the time and does a great job.

Nike Women's Marathon

This last weekend I went to San Francisco with my friend and her friend to hang out and then cheer them on while they ran the nike women's marathon. It was sooo freaking fun! It was amazing though, there were 20,000 runners all in union square, the energy was contageous.

Chad's Birthday

These are a couple of the presents chad just got for his birthday. I thought it was funny because the Fart book that Jake and Bronwyn got him is hilarious, it actually makes the sounds for each page. the boys play with it constantly. He also got some rubber gloves since he stole tons of them from the hospital when i had Shea. He uses them for everything.

Wind Storm

During a storm at my parents house i was getting ready to leave and was getting the kids in the car when i heard a loud cracking and snapping sound. I looked over just in time to pull Braden under me and luckily the door and the car took most of the tree that fell. It's amazing because there isn't one dent in the car and only two small scratches on the side. The Honda symbol on the back of the car had a piece of it come off but we saved it and glued it back on. CRAZY!!

This was before we left, shea was loving her uncle nate. soooo cute!

Braden's 6th Birthday

Braden requested an Optimus Prime cake, so that's what he got. He had a friend come with us to Chucky Cheese to play and have pizza and then went back home to open presents and eat some cake and ice cream.

August stuff

braden's first day of 1st grade. He thinks he's the man. he requested the fohawk, picked his outfit out the day before and put on some of chad's deoderant " so i don't stink"


i wanted to throw this one in because i thought it was funny, shea's first time on the trampoline. obviously she is scared to death and didn't cry, but stopped breathing all togeather.

The last three weeks

we had a fun last few weeks! First we went to fresno to visit chad's grandma miller. We loved the visit, almost as much as she loved it.

It was 112 in fresno so the heat was on and took a dip in the pool. This is shea's first time in the pool and she loved it, a larger than life bath tub, yahh!

Then we spent a week in a beach house at cayucos with chad's family and went to the beach everyday, this is cade flying a kite, we did a fire and roasted mallows on the beach, spent time at the tide pools, my sis in law and i, did a big 6 mile run on the beach from the pier to morro bay rock, shopping downtown, etc etc..... the list goes on.

i know its dark and blurry (chad, the NOT professional photographer) but i had to include it because i finally got to go surfing again, chad watched the kids and my sis in laws, and bro in law got to go out, it was small but soooo refreshing and fun!

after we got home we just chilled for a couple days to recoupe and did a little marshmellow roasting of our own at home.

4th of July weekend

We went to munds park in Arizona to visit my dad's side of the family for the weekend. There were fireworks, tons of card games, and awsome food! So much fun! We also had a big dodgeball game. As you can see by the next two pics of my brother and my dad... we mean business.haha

They had these four wheel drive vehicles called a rhino to ride. they could go over anything, huge rocks and jumps, so fun. This is chad taking cade for a ride, braden and cade loved them.

Family in town

Our Mini Vacations

We just went to Fresno for our nephew's baby blessing and it was a blast. we had pool parties galore.

We had my brother danny and his wife collin come stay for a week and hung out at the beach, the boys had a fun giving rides on the boogie boards to their toys.

These next pics are all from our annual and one of my favorite trips of all, camping at Gualala. Shea fell asleep a lot just staring at the fire.
