Been a while

So i know it's been a while, but the only thing that's been going on is feeding baby, changing baby, and sleeping when baby sleeps. We had Shea by c-section on February 25th at 9pm and she was 7lbs 2oz and 18 inches long. My only request to the nurse was that as soon as the baby was out to yell to me if it really was a girl or not.

Braden and Cade love her A LOT, too much, and i have to watch cade constantly. In the car when i know she's asleep, all i hear is cade saying "need your passy (pacifier) shea?" and i have to remind him we only touch her legs and her belly, and not very hard. i always know when cade is near because she starts crying because he has invaded her bubble space and is cheek to cheek with her.

Its been awsome though, i love having another baby, she completes our family and i've never been happier!!!
The only other thing that's been going on is chad found a lady who gave us her trampoline so the boys are out there everyday wrestling with chad and jumping around arguing about who is the better spiderman.

This was Braden's valentines card to me, and yes, those are my arms, my legs, and my gigantic belly. Chad immediately made the disclaimer to me that he had nothing to do with it and that braden drew the picture all on his own.

We had him choose the super hero cards but chad thought it would be funny if he handed these ones out at school, ghetto!!!!

super bowl sunday

last sunday was super bowl sunday and so we went to my parents house for a party, and an amazing amount of food. even though arizona didn't win we were happy because chad won $200 from a pool at work, yes, were bad mormon's and gambled.

shell beach

this last weekend was fun, we went to shell beach, a favorite surf spot for us and chad got to go out while the kids played on the rocks finding crabs.

this is them throwing the crabs into the water, its better then smashing them which is what they were doing and i convinced them that if they couldnt control themselves and leave them alone than at least this was better.

this is my surfing buddy, except this time i had to sit on the sidelines and eat bananas and pretzels while chad had all the fun.

Not exactly a white christmas

So this was new years eve and we all went to the beach, it was around 70 degrees and beautiful! we flew kites and played in the water and just chilled.

Cade didn't run fast enough from the waves and paid for it with a face plant and soaking wet clothes. He recovered soon enough and was at it again.

This is a pic with all my brothers, I remember being a lot taller then the rest of them though....interesting.

Christmas

So my brother got my mom these pjs because pjs are her favorite thing but my dad hates them with a passion because i guess she wears them to bed and im sure he prefers something else. He thinks my brother gave them to her to get him back for the younger years of his life. she loves them though.

one of the family gifts was guitar hero band, everyone played, its a blast, braden and myself had to learn to take turns though.

ever since i got pregnant and the boys come with me to my apointments they have been playing doctor so we got them a kit and they spend all day fixing me, chad, me, stuffed animals, me, and anything or anyone that will let them.

we always do the nativity story with narration and us as actors. braden was the shepherd and cade was the angel.

Holiday stuff

This is braden in his kindergarten class dressed as an Indian and singing songs in a little performance for thanksgiving... i'm going crazy because i totally got teary eyed watching him, freaking pregnancy.

This is our tradition on sunday night, chad starts a fire and i make hot chocolate and he tells them semi-scary stories by the fire. The kids love it and it totally reminds me of my childhood.

This is every morning in our house, the baby moves a ton in the morning and the boys love to feel it. Cade lays on my belly and then as soon as she kicks he laughs and then lays back down to feel it again. Its so cute, cade, not the belly.
