This was a small museum we went to. It had real dinosaur bones which was pretty cool and an obvious favorite of the boys.
Pretty much the rest of the day Braden and Cade pretended they were raptors, by the tenth time they tried to "kill me" with their razor sharp claws I made them turn back into boys or else I was going to turn into something deadly.
They had lots of real stuffed animals and interactive screens for them to learn about everything.
They had a laughing fit when i told them that this was a dung beetle and what it pushed was really made of poop. They laughed even harder when Shea started touching it.... boys..
They even had a big screen that showed animal movies.
I had to include a couple pictures of what is different here than in cali. I've never seen a rite aid like this, and all the stores are the same with the red brick and colonial detail.
These are ALL over the place, it is their version of an ampm. A " Wawa"..... seriously, i get ampm, but a wawa? what does that even mean???
Anyways, still having fun doing new stuff and meeting some new people.

Liberty Bell
So we've been in delaware for a week now and have gotten settled in. It is beautiful here but holy crap it's hot and humid!! luckily we have a pool and AC cause otherwise.... that's all i'm saying. So we went to PA to see some sights, this is me and the boys in front of independence hall, we also took a tour of the inside to see where they signed the declaration of independence. It got me all patriotic hearing all that stuff!
Chad and Braden were buddies this trip because braden was suprisingly interested in history, not that it should be suprising, but that he's only 6 and interested. Chad explained everything to him as we went.
The liberty bell...
Braden reading ALL of the info, we were there for a while.
this was " the tomb of the unknown soldier". I love the saying on the top, like i said, i got all patriotic being there.
I like this pic because the buildings are all so old, its cool. History people, history!
And last i took this pic while we were driving because it's so different from cali. you can't even see anything off the freeway because its so thick with trees, like i said, beautiful but the AC is on full blast in the car, haha. In the fall all the trees turn yellow, red and orange so i'll take another picture then.

the past month
we love to go to the beach and shea loves to steal grandma's chair like she own's the place.
i thought this was funny as we were coming out of church, if you look closely you can see the "mormon grafitti" on the sidewalk. haha.
one of my very best friends just came down to visit us and this is shea going in to plant a kiss on her son jackson. this is the only picture ive got of the visit though since april took all the pics....hint hint april.
chad came home from delaware for the weekend and we all went bowling. it was tons of fun especially for the boys. they pretty much just like the shoes.jpg)
cade could barely hold the ball and when he threw it, it slammed on the ground so hard i thought they were going to kick us out.
shea likes to hold her own peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, much to my dismay. she thought my reaction was hilarious.
this makes me happy!!! i can finally paint someones fingernails, but only when she's drinking a bottle and not paying attention.
sorry this pic is sideways but this was me and my friend mary at the ragnar relay race. it was the coolest thing ive done! its 200 miles with a team of 12 people and you run three legs of the race over a 24hour period. so fun and we even felt cool with our fake ragnar tatoo's
i was a little excited to run since this was my last leg of the race until we were done!!! at the end everybody ran through the finish with me since i was the last runner to the finish.
here's all 12 of us ready for some sleep and a shower!!!!

5 months of stuff!
ok so i finally updated the blog since recieving many death threats from family and friends, our computer crashed so we were without it for a couple months and then i just plain slacked off. so we had tons of pics but i chose a few to show kinda what we've been doing here.
The boys love to play soccer so this is what you see at our house after chad gets off work in the front yard, even shea likes to get in on the action.
Cade started soccer league this year. he's a huge fan! you can see though from the knocked over cones that the skills are in need of a little development. he also ate crap a few times since he literally goes 110% all the time.

The boys are also into star wars and so chad made them some ghetto costumes for them to become jedi's with.
This is the jacuzzi in the backyard that i thought was broken but chad got it working and cleaned it all out and we've been chilling in it at night ever since. love it!
braden started t-ball again and has improved in his running skills a lot.... he has gone from the speed of a snail to the speed of a sloth so we're excited about that.
cade's t-ball experience.
This was a super fun trip to the monterey bay aquarium. we won tickets from a radio station and so went and had a blast, got some great food from the warf and then went to a hotel to chill in the pool and sit by the fire.

Easter! the boys are all into "how to train your dragon" stuff so the easter bunny came through.
Braden lost his first tooth. the tooth fairy did not fall asleep and forget the money so we were happy about that because it was close.
We also had shea turn one and get her ears pierced and have been playing tennis and working on the backyard, and ive been doing girls camp and young woman stuff so its been fun and busy. Chad also will be leaving on monday for a job in Delaware and i will follow him the end of may. we are super excited for a fun new adventure and we'll be back sometime in october-nov.
