Morro Bay and Elephant Seals

Had a day outing to see the elephant seals and play in Morro Bay. We went with my sis in law Collin and baby Chloe.

Christmas

Christmas was tons of fun. We stayed at my moms and had all but two brothers there. We had my grandparents and my uncle Pat and his family, it was a full house to say the least. This was obviously our extra ghetto nativity re enactment.

Braden turned 8 so you know what that means! We just had a small group of family and my very good friend come to support. I may have shed a tear but I will never admit it.
Uncle Josh and Danny were super into it. They played ping pong until it was go time.

A few things we've been up to.... One of our sunday afternoon activities is hiking, there is a lot of it around here and its beautiful. This is Shea and her walking stick, apparently you can't walk without one.

I have a cub scout now! Braden loves cub scouts, and they say it helps build something... oh yah, character... we'll see.

You made paper airplanes and then this machine shot them out to see who's went the farthest. Everyone made fun of my design that I spent so much time on but in the end... I WON!! haha!

Past 3 months....

So I haven't taken a lot of pictures in the past few months but here's a few.

We did DC for the fourth, amazing again!

They don't call it a bribe, but this company chad just hired for some work gave our family tickets to a phillys game. Soooo FUN!!


We told Shea not to get this motorized rat thing next to her hair but she didn't listen, and now, it really does have a tail.
Went to the philly zoo with a friend, best zoo i've been to, really liked it. Also rode a camel!
My mom came to visit and Shea wouldn't let her alone to even sleep.

Cade turned 5. We took him to his favorite place to eat and they sung to him and put him in an...authentic? Hat...
cade wanted to go bowling for his bday, my mom isn't what you would call sporty, but as luck would have it, she owned us all.
This was my mom helping shea bowl, this was right before she didn't think the ball was going fast enough so she went to kick it... yes, kick the bowling ball the rest of the way and in my mom's true fashion, slipped and fell on the slick part of the lane and landed flat on her back. She was ok so we laughed it off.

First day of school for the boys. Chad wishing them good luck and telling them not to kick the teacher in the shin and get sent home like he did on his first day of school.
Ummm, daddy was bored and found the markers. He promised they were washable...we'll see about that.
went on an old train through wilmington, the workers dressed the part and even clipped our tickets on the way.

This is a quick video i took before the hurricane came, Shea wasn't really sure what kind of natural disaster it was so she kept calling it a tomato.

Beach, Books, and Firearms

A fun trip to the beach with the fam. Braden was at school so he missed out but was ok with it when we went golfing after he got home.

This is shea's mouse, it's random, but it's her baby and it goes everywhere with us... everywhere!
Chad brought a sling shot for cade to play with at the beach. What's up with them and firearms this last weekend?? oh yah, they are boys...
This is Shea wiping the sand off not only her feet but the bottom of her sandals too. There should be no sand anywhere near her in shea's perfect world.
They each got a turn shooting paper cups in the backyard with the airsoft gun.
Braden took it too seriously.

Shea's bed is really high, so they use it as a fort. Chad can even get under it and they love when he reads them books.
